Heroes of our film are from the same village, but political history made them the citizens of two different countries. Despite the special regulations connecting with the living near the state border, these Georgians never break off relations completely. Today their connections are on the new stage, which is still complicated because of the lack of the road: people who live close enough for a handshake, have to walk more than 100 kilometers. . .
The film “Georgians Divided By The Border” tells us about the daily life, joint problems, plans, and hopes of the people who live on both sides of river Chorokhi.
