Synopsis

Competition Status  – Participant

This is an account of Araksiya Grigoryan, a resident of Glendale, California, USA, who flew to Armenia and took part in her nation’s struggle. From the very first days of the “Velvet Revolution” she participated in rallies, marches, actions of  peaceful disobedience, suffered injuries during police operations.
After 24 years of living in the US, Araksia returned to Armenia, well aware that starting a new life would be very difficult; however, she was ready to withstand all the difficulties for the idea of creating a “New Armenia.”
