“In the Reflection of Eternity” focuses on the Akhtala Monastery in Lori region, located in present-day Armenia. The area has a long history of Georgian, Greek, Russian and French co-existence. The origins of this historic place has long been a subject of discussion among Georgian and Armenian historians, as Lori district at one time was Georgian territory, and has even caused tension between the two countries in 20th century.
