Yuri Fedinski was born and raised in United States; eight years ago he decided to move to Ukraine to dedicate his life to the revival of Kobzar Culture. A Kobzar was an itinerant Ukrainian bard who sang to his own accompaniment played on a multi-stringed bandura or kobza. Yuri settled down in a small Ukrainian village where he now creates unique bandura and kobza instruments, while opening Ukrainian culture to the world. This TV report reveals what inspired this former rock musician to make such a dramatic life change.
