Synopsis

In the village Ferma, girls are leaving school and getting married at the age of 13, 14 or 15. Ferma is located in Georgia, not far from its capital city. The village is inhabited by Azerbaijanis, a minority ethnic group in Georgia. There is only one school for the village’s more than 2,000 inhabitants, and it has just eight grades – after finishing the 8^th grade, only boys continue their studies in the neighbour village’s school.
