Synopsis
The Foreigner is a cycle of stories about entrepreneurs from prosperous and free countries who have come to Ukraine. They live here and attempt to integrate into society. Yet these entrepreneurs have faced unique, unexpected problems. The local environment is not receptive to them, resisting them and the change that they have brought to Ukraine. The newcomers have a choice – they can isolate themselves, enter into conflict with the environment – or, they can try to change it, make it comfortable for themselves, find a common language. The films allow us to look at ourselves through the eyes of foreigners and determine the qualities we need to succeed. These foreigners in our midst teach us about patience and responsibility, tolerance, the ability to listen to one another, perfectionism and confidence.
