Synopsis
“Qirim” is portraying three generations of Crimean Tatars putting the parallels between the past and the current situation in Crimea. Those different generations have witnessed the time of deportation 70 years ago, the moment of return to Crimea, the life in Ukraine as Ukrainian citizen and Russian occupation in 2014. 7 decades of history fulfilled with pain, disappointment, fear and sorrow. No matter what happens to the nation of Crimean Tatars today, people are still continuing living, creating their own families with hope, faith and love. But they never forget their past.
