Cultural and religious dialogue is crucial in order to preserve the cultural diversity of human civilization. In this regard the experiences of countries with strong traditions of social and religious tolerance can significantly contribute to this process. Azerbaijan, for example, is a model for the peaceful coexistence of many ethnicities and faiths.

Here you can often witness a Muslim attending church together with his Christian friend on Easter; similarly, during the holy month of Ramadan,
Muslims feel support from their brothers: Protestants, Catholics, Orthodox and Jews.

While political leaders of the world are discussing the problems of racism,
discrimination and religious intolerance, the ordinary people are simply holding communities together; for them it does not matter in what language their friends pray.
