Throughout their history in Azerbaijan the Udis have enjoyed friendship and fraternal relations with other ethnic groups. The Udis, who make up the vast majority of the population in the village of Nij, have secondary education in their native language. In addition, for more than 20 years the Udis have a music and drama folk group, which has performed at major festivals across the country and won awards.
